Minimalist pencil pot

The minimal pencil pot was a design which was created in collaboration with some other product designers in a team of 4 on the NTU product design summer course in which we first researched our client and their environment and then we started coming up with initial design ideas and settled on this one as it matched in with her aesthetic and proffessional and personal life.

The pot is designed around the golden ration which can be seen when viewed from above and provides a more mathematical approach to the seemingly simplistic design. The product can fit a large amount of stationary which is good for someone with a cluttered desk as it can even store a calculator.
